Formed in 1998 by four professional music educators, Brass Unlimited- a tightly knit and versatile brass quartet- is recognized as one of Tacoma’s leading chamber ensembles. With its own unique arrangements of music from the renaissance to the works of Charles Ives, the quartet enjoys sharing with its audiences a rich and diverse repertoire that celebrates the sound of brass.

Brass Unlimited's members have performed with some of the most recognized Northwest regional ensembles and national acts, including the Tacoma Symphony, Geoffrey Ballet, Seattle Opera, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Federal Way Symphonic Band, Tacoma Concert Band, Stan Kenton Orchestra, Billy May Orchestra, the O-Jays, the Four Tops, and the Temptations.

Now in its 17th season, Brass Unlimited actively performs throughout the Puget Sound and continues to host the annual Sounds of Brass concert event- an eclectic program that delights audiences with the magnificent sound of antiphonal brass choirs and features solo performances by renown guest artists.
